Welcome to the School of Art and Innovation, a community of creative and innovative thinkers.

Our school cultivates a space where unique ideas are fostered. From designers inventing with engineers to writers engaging with STEM students, there is a rich collaboration in a diverse environment. We are a formidable blend of art, science and the humanities, working together towards innovation.

I start with a foundation in identity work to establish each individual’s unique concept and vision. The student then begins creating and building in the studio as they explore and discover all the possibilities of their projects. The result is a life-long understanding of how to observe the world with a curious mind that challenges convention and seeks out new and progressive ideas.

Our mentorship program is the core of our community, building character and scholarship with excellence. Students learn how to put their values into practice, gaining confidence as they mature into their roles as adults by acquiring skills in communications, networking and leadership. At the School of Art and Innovation, we are building the whole mind through both critical thinking and creative problem-solving.

Our holistic approach has opened up many opportunities for our students including internships, jobs and college acceptances. Here are a few examples of where our students have been accepted:

About Dianne Brudnicki

Dianne has an extensive design background working in NYC as a fashion designer for Neiman Marcus, J Crew and Darryl Alexander. She then went on to run production for Christian Dior Evening Wear, American division. Having experience in both design and production, she opened up her own business–Dianne B Honolulu–creating fashion collections and consulting on design projects for Hawaii retailers. Transitioning beyond her successful business background, Dianne then moved to Seattle and started the School of Art and Innovation, building programs to teach students how to create and innovate with her new mentoring techniques and applied training.

Her unique program has received attention from many institutions with it’s reputation of excellence. She has been a keynote speaker at the Smithsonian Design Institute’s education seminar program on case studies in design education. In 2001 she began to research and develop the award-winning mentorship program, which has garnered numerous acceptances into high-level college programs with top merit-scholarships.

This program focuses on building high-level creators, thinkers and innovators. At the School of Art and Innovation there are no limits to ideas. We invite you see what our students are discovering as they build their futures and careers.
